Ferinject® ▼ (ferric carboxymaltose)
Ferinject® is a solution of ferric carboxymaltose used for intravenous treatment of iron deficiency when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used. The diagnosis of iron deficiency must be based on laboratory tests.

Venofer® ▼ (iron sucrose)
Venofer is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency in the following indications:

  • Where there is a clinical need for a rapid iron supply,
  • In patients who cannot tolerate oral iron therapy or who are non-compliant,
  • In active inflammatory bowel disease where oral iron preparations are ineffective,
  • In chronic kidney disease when oral iron preparations are less effective.

The diagnosis of iron deficiency must be based on appropriate laboratory tests (e.g. Hb, serum ferritin, TSAT, serum iron, etc.).

Velphoro® ▼ (Polynuclear Iron (III)-Oxyhydroxide, Sucroferric Oxyhydroxide)
Velphoro® is indicated for the control of serum phosphorus levels in adult chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients on haemodialysis (HD) or peritoneal dialysis (PD).
Velphoro® should be used within the context of a multiple therapeutic approach, which could include calcium supplement, 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3 or one of its analogues, or calcimimetics to control the development of renal bone disease.
